I went out into the park this afternoon in search of autumn colours. The late afternoon light was good so I was pleased with several of the shots I took. I liked this one best as it showed the colours in a more interesting way. It you have not clocked it yet, the image is an inverted reflection. I wonder if water features so frequently in Impressionist painting because it lends itself to that treatment or whether the colour, patterns and light of reflections inspired Impressionist painting in the first place.
