Mother completed her Christmas shopping today! She has the best list ever - a gift for each of my cousin's 4 children aged from 7-3, everyone else gets money. Oh how I wish that was my list.

She was telling me all about the 'humourist' funeral service she was at on Friday and how her cousin had once taken the works van (he worked for a furniture store) put in a 3 piece suite and then collected his parents and sister and driven them from Edinburgh to Prestwick airport for their holiday flight. Now that is travelling in style and oh how I wish every funeral was 'humourist'.

Her spirits were high today but her back and breathing not so. I left with a sense of unease today. Then I saw a rainbow appearing and knew that if I was quick I could catch it over one of the bridges. Just in time, there is always a point in Chasing rainbows.
