Autumn Hillside

Not only the trees are golden at the moment. The bracken has turned colour though it holds that special hue for only a few days. The heather and the grasses are also fading fast.

Soon the hills will look cold and wintry but coming back over the Rest & Be Thankful late this afternoon the slopes of Beinn an Lochain were almost glowing in the fleeting sunshine.
