Jubilee Market
This was my view at lunchtime. Despite a morning shower, it was dry and warm enough to sit out. I bought a hot Ribena and bagel from Jubilee Market and perched on the steps of Covent Garden Market. Halfway through my lunch, a group of folk with strong East End London accents sat behind me. I expected to hear dull (to me) conversation, but no, these guys started chatting about the work they were doing in various TV shows as musicians and scriptwriters. I eavesdropped further and caught some recommendations for comedy shows that I hadn't heard of. I started watching Toast of London this evening and found it hilarious. Thank you, lunchtime strangers, for the tip.
This also made my evening: slow-shaking dogs. The shaking Lassie-type dog is hypnotic.
