SUNSET OVER THE LAKE.....

Thank you all for the wonderful comment and thoughts for my 200th blip yesterday, much appreciated , my mate Patchy and I were delighted to sit on the Spotlight pages for quite awhile , thank you. We travelled to Ballarat today through the Central Victorian countryside, although raining most of the way had a great trip. It is really a nice part of Australia, a mix of cattle, sheep, canola, wheat, and hay production, very fertile ground. Around Shepparton is one the major stone fruit growing areas, although sadly imports and other factors have caused a large part of this industry to close. After settling in, the sky cleared a bit and thought it could be a good sunset. Where we stay is set on a large area and has a big lake at the back so this is taken looking across that. Doing the upload on my iPad, and not used to it will try to put another shot in my folio? Weather looks like clearing here, but in home town the fires are still burning and new outbreaks have occurred up around The Newcastle area, thankfully the forecast is for a bit better weather and maybe a bit of rain!!
