Mr Pip

I decided to go to The Paradiso Cinema tonight in Wanaka a must do thing if you are there. I settled down in a comfy settee with a nice Latte to watch Mr Pip. I was quite interested to see the film as one day we came across them filming it, they had transformed the heritage building on the way to Kurow . We stopped and I took photographs in fact I used one for my blip but not sure when now. I had my phone on my knee ready but it came on the screen unexpectedly and was gone in a flash ! I only got this image of them saying goodbye outside of the cottage. It was interesting to see how little footage was used when knowing how much went into it. The other local area was Oamaru old town. It was being used as London the rest of the film was on an island . A nice film but a bit sad and gruesome in parts. I had to buy cookies for Tom and Rob! They wouldn't come with me. They make home made cookies for half time. It's raining!
