Birthday wishes

September 1962 a Married couple with 3 children and another on the way emmigrated from Holland to Invercargill, New Zealand.That Married couple my parents went through the childbirth difficulties once again and not for the last time either. October 23 1962 my Mother gave birth to a boy 2 months premature weighing 8 pound 10 ounces , due to complications had to go from the Maternity Hospital to the main Hospital by Ambulance, where the baby boy underwent a blood transfusion,the specialist was busy talking to the team but forgot to talk to the woman, when she spoke up loudly that she could speak English gave them all a huge shock.
