The Academy of heroes

today was a pretty easy day, I have an mis quiz tomorrow that I'm nervous for but I think I will do alright. I've got a lot of work coming up for next week which is annoying especially since I have a big opm test on Halloween. I didn't do so well on the last so I'm really gonna bear down and do well on this one. today's pic is one that means a lot to me but would be glanced over by others, this is my wallet and you might be thinking woop di doo it's a wallet with an x on it. but that x means something, and it's not the number ten. I got my wallet branded while I was at northern tier after I completed a fifty mile canoe trip around the great lakes. that was one of the greatest weeks of my life so far and I have so many fond memories and hope maybe one day I can go back. this x is the symbol they use to brand their canvas canoes and I thought this would be a cooler souvenir than anything they had in the shop. I don't have many things left from my boy scout career sadly, but I have this and everytime I look at it all the wonderful memories begin to flow through me once again. last note, my dad emailed me and my siblings today saying that they just signed a contract with a contractor and that demo is gonna start soon and we will hopefully be back home by the summer, man that just can't come soon enough.
