Dividends

Things are finally coming together at the house I'm working on at the moment.

The most important thing is that I'm managing the pain better than I was. Essentially massive amounts of painkillers.

First thing first was getting the crew of convicts in to clear the place. It's looking like nearly nothing got stolen but there is a missing whisk attachment for mixing cement/tile set/grout. But the convicts mistress, a delightfully old crabby bird called Robin gave me one of her mixers at the end of the afternoon as way of compensation.

However, 8 hours of someone elses heavy lifting, $120 later and three loads of crap removed, and the place looked so much better. Ready for sanding tomorrow.

My job today was grouting the kitchen and bathroom which went pretty quickly all things considered. Looks absolutely brilliant so I finished the afternoon getting some cabinet downlighters. Not that you can tell as the vent light is so bright, but it does look good.

The backsplash on this bit totally finished now as well.

Finally though we're seeing dividends from some fairly painful and hard work. Things are starting to come together.
