Kekova, again
The downside of a cabin up front is that when we get underway in the morning the anchor is pulled up just beside where I am sleeping, then the engine throbs. Luckily it wasn't as early as start as yesterday but we were still on the go before dawn, which is just after 7.
It was a short hop to Shipwreck Bay for breakfast and a swim. the water was so warm. The small boat brought a couple selling the inevitable scarfs but no buyers. Hard work. Then we went across to Kale for a second climb up to Simena Castle. Those of us who'd done the visit on Sunday mooched around taking photographs in the heat before the whole group did a short trek across the headland to the next bay where Sobek was waiting. It was hard going for those who hadn't come equipped. I was really glad of the sturdy trainers and the walking pole. C and D struggled in inadequate footwear.
But the walk was worth it and after a dinghy transfer down the creek there was more swimming and dinner under an almost full moon.
But clouds were buildng.
