Mt Akdag

Out on the bus this morning to Mt Akdag, White Mountain.

We started by walking through apple orchards. The owners were picking the apples and we all ended up with apples to eat and take back, all freely given. There were beautiful views back to Mt Akdag. It was another beautiful day and we wandered through the pine forest ending up for lunch in a local village house. Lunch was soup and salad, fruit and cay. The fruits were all grown in the garden and tasted wonderful. As we were leaving we were given walnuts. Dave, the guide, had a whole bag to take home.

We were supposed to stop at Kaputaas beach on the way back but it was too windy bit we managed a quick swim on a beach nearer the town, with sandflies. So back to the pool, then a meal with the small group. Although recommended I was less keen on tonight's restaurant. However, I ended down in the square with T, sharing life stories.
