L is for Linda

Had I have known I would receive a phone call to say that the lovely Linda had passed away I would have taken a better photo today.

I met Linda about 3 or maybe 4 summers ago. She was one of those ladies who warms your heart from the moment you meet her. Every year she worked on Mintfest with her friend Anne. This year I didn't work on it, neither did Linda. A few days before she had suffered a bleed to her brain and was in a coma. Her best friend, Anne, decided to work at the festival, knowing that Linda would wish for her to continue with their plan.

Sadly Linda didn't recover and passed away in the early hours of Monday morning. I can not tell you much about her - I only really worked with her a few times - but I can tell you that she was one of those women you will never forget. A true heart of gold, you will be missed by all lovely, lovely Linda. Mx
