A lovely gift...

Today has been very disrupted by the workmen installing the new boiler and taking out the rayburn. What a mess! but after much sorting and cleaning, things are more or less back to normal. Having Radio 2 blaring through the house was a new experience ! For the record I would have liked to use one of the photos of the kitchen in transition , but instead I decided to post this photo of a beautiful gift given to me. Each little heart is made from a map of places which are special to me. North Uist, Lochgilphead, Paris , Oban and Tiree. And there are two of the village in which I now have my home. It was made by her daughter Jennifer and I will treasure it. I am grateful that I have some very good friends.
