Rocky road

There are good days and bad days. Today was the latter. Nothing major league just a general feeling of unease, uncertainty and mild despondency.

The list didn't get attacked particularly well or efficiently today but I did work through the first fee chapters of the accountancy a level book from the library. It doesn't completely light my fire but there is something strangely comforting about double entry bookkeeping.

Apparently it's the done thing at work that if it's your birthday it's your responsibility to bring cake. How does that work? The request was for Rocky Road so that is what you have. It's not quite hard enough for me to slice it yet. At the risk of sounding like Ruby from GBBO I'm not entirely happy with it. I used a different chocolate to normal, Sainsburys Belgian, and it seems a bit rich. Oh well, it'll have to do.
