Don't Fear the Reaper

At Ophelia's preschool the kids' interests and ideas drive the choice of topic. This week it's all about witches, wizards and wands, and they can go in Halloween costumes all week. Gracie has always chosen very lovely, girly dresses for Halloween costumes. Ophelia is my wildcard. This year she has decided to to be the Grim Reaper. She took on the role with gusto and scared half the village on the school run.
Grace also had a Halloween party tonight at Beavers/Cubs which she seems to have enjoyed, but later declared that she wished we didn't have Halloween because it's too scary.
Arwen had a party too today: her first birthday party with her baby friends who are not really babies anymore.
