And fairly heavy cookies actually, but these 8-10 yr old girls made them almost completely by themselves. One of the things I enjoy most about working with kids after school (or in the holidays like today) is how they enjoy to do things that were always done by hand traditionally. There's something so soothing about passing on from generation to generation what cannot easily be learned in reading or in writing but that's in the hands.
