Back in Brown
It's good to be home. A night in our own bed, breakfast at leisure (although we were expecting our plumber to service the boiler - he's a good chap though) and cooking soup for lunch. Give it a few more days and I'll be itching to go somewhere again though.
Last night's jam night was very successful in its new venue. A bit quiet because many people haven't found out about the move yet but it's a good space with a bit more room and better acoustics. The landlord was pleased too.
What a day it's been with waves of rain washing in every hour or so but when I went out this afternoon it did stay off for a while. If it's wet and it's muddy why not make a feature of it? So that's what you have, a muddy foreground, a brooding sky but I think those shades of green in between are quite attractive.
I'll be out again tonight to the jam over the river, I haven't been there for a few weeks so that'll be good.
Hope you've kept your feet dry.
David
