Beaten by the Weather

Quite literally I am afraid. We had some horrendous rain overnight and today my dearests hosta (I think that is how you spell it) had taken the brunt of it full on.

Instead of the leaves being a vibrant green with a wonderful white edge they look like drowned rats that have waved the white flag of surrender and want to go into hibernation for the winter. Will now have to get these cut back sooner rather than later.

Mother nature can sometimes take it out on its own in a big way
