The shop on the right with the To Let signs is a sadness. It flourished for over 100 years as a family-run business, Richards, selling all sorts. The sort of shop where you could buy a single nail, should you have wanted one. No more. It was then a furniture shop briefly, the sort of place the town needed as much as it needs another coffee shop. The empty property next to it (out of shot) looks as if it might be turning into one of those. I do hope not.

More exciting blips planned for tomorrow and Thursday. Tomorrow we have our Tea Concert and I propose to blip the spread. Then on Thursday I'll be looking for a stranger...
