Prepared

A horror bushfire day is predicted for tomorrow. There is not much more we can do now but wait. I thought our house was prepared, but when I had a good look around the garden today I found it wasn't anywhere near as good as it should be. So we have spent the day doing what we can and disposed of 2 ute loads of vegetation. I am exhausted and didn't feel guilty having a bath filled to the brim - the water is still there ready for tomorrow if needed. We are in the centre of town and have a tank full of water, a pump and generator so will stay and defend the house unless advised to evacuate. Tomorrow night seems a long way off. I hope I am still here Blipping.
