Incentive

The toughest part of being a piano teacher is keeping the students motivated to practice. Every year I try something different. This year they get a star when they know at least one of their assigned pieces very well. So far I have been pretty tough. A little competition is always a good thing, I think. They come in and count to see who has the most stars. We're only in our 4th week and are hoping to fill the entire window by Christmas.
