Derwent at Night

We took the boat across Derwent Water from Keswick to Hawes End in the morning and walked around the Lake to Grange for lunch next to the bridge, then on to the Flock-in Tearoom at Rosthwaite to have a coffee & scone in their picturesque garden. Open-top bus back to Keswick. A wonderful day under a mostly clear sky and I took dozens of pictures that I could have uploaded. But it was an even clearer sky at night with an almost full moon so I took myself down to the lakeside at Keswick. It was pitch dark here. I used my head-torch to "paint" the foreground while the moon and starlight and a 60 second exposure took care of the rest.
