West Coast Weather

My wife's family wsa having a get-together at Lochgoilhead, on the West Coast of Scotland, this weekend. Lochgoilhead is one of those places where it just rains. A lot. And that's fine - so long as you know what to expect, and you dress appropriately, it's a beautiful place to be and wonderfully restful.

We arrived early afternoon and got ourselves checked into our caravan - a large van in excellent condition. There was a lovely large area of decking out the front of the van. It even had a special area marked off, rather hopefully, with "BBQ"!

But I don't think that today was exactly barbecue weather...
