I had a lovely day out with my sister today. She took me to Great Dunmow, where we had a look around the little shops, walked around by the church, river and stopped in a couple of tea rooms for lunch, coffee, tea and greedy cake. The cake looked delicious and beautiful sitting under it's 'cake dome'...beetroot and polenta, with marscapone, blackberries and raspberries, but was a really strange texture and a bit tasteless! That'll teach us not to be so greedy and to stick to just a healthy apple (maybe).
We then went for a walk around the very pretty village of Finchingfield. I'd forgotten there was a windmill there (so was a little excited!) I forced my sister to appear in the photo, with the windmill in the far distance.
