It's come to this, the out side in.

These Cosmos were grown from seed, sown in April. Come mid October there were only a couple of flowers open plus a few buds doing nothing. So, about to head for the compost bin but instead I brought them indoors and . . .Whoosh, 20+ flowers and as many new buds. Strange thing is that another clump grown in an east facing bed has done more of less the same. Certainly a late onset of autumn for up here. Playing golf in shirtsleeves last Saturday!!!!! :-)
No doubt we'll suffer for this respite sometime over the next few months.
