Pumpkin soup

We spent most of today at mum and dad's house. I took all the ingredients to make pumpkin soup.

After almost an hour hacking away at the pumpkin, (dad was even using a mallet to help!), I was cursing the whole idea.

However, it turned out lovely and was devoured by us all tonight for dinner, with home made bread. I may even make it again next week..
