The oldest street in Leeds

"This is Kirkgate, the oldest street in Leeds, and home to Leeds' First White Cloth Hall which was built in 1711.
Many of the buildings along this street, including the White Cloth Hall will be refurbished as part of the Lower Kirkgate Townscape Heritage Initiative.
The work will be funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Leeds City Council and property owners. Work will start in 2013/14."
