Today was Lauren's "Mum's Group" catch up day. A nice riverside park at Bayswater Gardens was the destination. The park was lovely. A huge, as always, and well equipped, as always, place that was safely enclosed, beautifully clean and looked after. And a lot of fun for the children. They had a great time. However, the wonderful extra for the day came courtesy of eagle-eyed Katie. She spotted a beach and children playing in the water just further down the banks of the Swan River. She asked all the way through Mums Group to play in the river. And afterwards, we let the three of them go for it. We had a glorious time. We spent a really long time playing in the water - which was just opposite Perth's Ascot racecourse and in the flight path for the international airport too, so even more to watch. We had planned to be out for the morning. We ended up staying most of the afternoon too. A wonderful time. We took the children home filthy but very very happy. And put them straight in the bath. They've spent a lot of time in the bath this holiday! Jet lag is completely a thing of the past, thanks to all the full days that we've given them. It took them one sleep to switch. They were all sparko by 630 tonight!
