Fall Frenzy

The forecast for today was for rain but we awoke to sunshine! Our plans were to bike on the Leelanau Trail with friends so we were happy the weather cooperated. Our friends hadn't been on bikes in 15 years so we went slow. The slowness meant I had lots of opportunities to stop and take pictures of the gorgeous fall colors. Fall frenzy - a time to get out and enjoy it while you can because it's a short season. And the weathermen did utter the 's' word last night. S-n-0-w! Yikes, it will be here before we know it!
