Nous somme We are awfy continental here in Leith. There are the new tennis courts on the Links (probably Murray inspired) and the traditional Bools lawn in the background... but now we also have a Boules court (is it a court??)

During the minority of Mary, Queen of Scots, Leith was the centre of government for Scotland, run by her maman, Marie de Guise; obviously some of that sophisticated European cachet rubbed off on us.


Actually, I don't think it's been used yet. Maybe by a couple of the local untrained Bull Terriers as a toilet...
