" HE AIN'T NOTHING BUT A HOUND DOG "
Well it's been an amazing weekend of mixed emotions and I thankyou for those who continued to drop in and share my experience.
Friday, as some of you are aware the meeting went better than expected, mainly because the Clinical Psychologist and the Ed. Psychologist, although arriving late, had at least spent some considerable time checking up on Adrian's records from the time he was 3.
This enabled them to observe his behaviour patterns etc. They are now recommending a number of options and it has given us a bit more hope.
The journey over to Southampton was pretty uneventful to drop off accounting books, then onto Alresford to meet our friends who we had been invited over to stay with. The meal out in the evening was superb and the whole place was buzzing with everyone out enjoying Friday night.
I wont go over the entire weekend, just to say that today we dropped in to my sisters home (Redflash), to share a meal with them and meet their new arrival. He is absolutely gorgeous with such a lovely nature. He will bring them much happiness and go a long way in plugging the gap that Milo had left. Well done Murphy!!!
As you can imagine the greeting back we got from Phoebe was immense and she has spent the entire evening snuggled up to both of us.
It's good to go away and see people and family that you love, but it's nice to be back home. Only downside it's Monday tomorrow - augh.......... Can I have a Groundhog Day and relive the weekend?
Hoping you have all enjoyed a superb time spent with loved ones. Whether it be your partner, husband/wife, cat, dog, budgie etc. We all need someone to love and to receive love. For love is the most powerful emotion we have, more foreceful than hate. So next time you feel you're not winning in life, tell someone you love them and share some happiness around. We all need our spirits lifting through the darker months to come, in more ways than one!!!
