Back to reality, but with many happy memories...
I can't believe our holiday is over!
Two weeks in Nepal sped by so fast, but it was such a brilliant time; seeing beautiful scenery and mountains up close, enjoying a break in the fresh air, playing games and laughing a lot, and mainly getting to spend some time with my parents again - fantastic.
Back to Scotland last night, arriving 23 hours after setting off and collapsing straight in bed. Today was more relaxing - unpacking our things including a Nepalese rug, board game and mule bells. Now whenever we want to relive the holiday we can sit on the rug and close our eyes while imagining mules tramping past us. Bliss.
Have spent a while updating photos from the last two weeks, but if it's too much hassle to trawl through them then my personal favourite four are maybe of a friend we met on the way up the mountain, spending quality time with the wife, getting close to magnificent nature and, of course getting to hang out with the parents.
Have a look at them all though if you have some time. It was difficult choosing just one photo from each day, it was sad cutting out so many sunrises and sunsets over the Himalayas!
Brilliant holiday.
