The Census at Bethlehem

At Frieze Masters there is Peter Brueghel's painting The Census at Bethlehem which was in the same family for more than 400 years and was purchased originally from the painter ( see here)
It was apparently sold for $10MM couple days ago (which interestingly may not been that good investments for the family that owned it all these years)). Among all art works at this years FM this one was the biggest crowd gatherer. Although painting is beautiful, it is not the beauty but the story and price tag which has nothing to do with artistic value attracted the public.....Enough said
