Orange and Polenta Cake

The rain set in early today. There were some pauses when there was no rain, or just light rain, but not many. We tried to make the best of it.

In the morning we went the few miles North to Kilmartin Glen and visited some of the standing stones and cairns. The museum shop was our next stop, for postcards. Then we visited the cafe, which is high on our list of favourites in this area. We like to sit in the downstairs conservatory which has big windows looking down the length of the glen. In my blip you might be able to catch sight of Apothecary7 who was looking at some of the artworks in the current exhibition displayed throughout the cafe and shop.

Later we went South to Tarbert and had a wander around. The tide was very high when we watched the ferry come in from Portavadie over on Cowal.

Maeve the Deerhound has had quite a lazy day, but has had some short walks :-)
