British Superbikes

As we walked from the car park in to the circuit there was a beautiful rainbow over the track. It was very much a day of beautiful sunshine and heavy showers. That patch of rubber (about the size of your hand) is all that keeps a motorbike the right way up. Some riders are very good in the rain but today's weather is very hard to make the right plan for tyre compounds etc.

Anyway, it was all very exciting with these beautiful bikes roaring by. We had comfy seats and hospitality in the dry, right by the start/finish line.

So .... this is Lee Costello and James Ellison battling for the lead at Graham Hill Bend on their 1000 cc machines after the two championship leaders had fallen off. They were later passed by Josh Brookes who took the win.
