The morning after

Thank you for all your lovely comments yesterday. You know, our Blipfoto friends were listed in the acknowledgments inside the small Moleskin journals we used as programs. Our friend, K, who will do our wedding photos took some fantastic shots with very difficult lighting.

Folks explored the hanging paintings and the artifacts on tables spread around the room. Many of the items were mentioned in G's performance. We ended the show together, after he slowly put the lights up. We walked together and took the small Nora portrait from the wall, taking it off center, in front. We held the painting between us, bowed and walked off, out the door to the strains of Peggy Lee's "Where or When" that had been playing as the lights came back on. One of our friends made a soft sound in the audience as we bowed, and later told me that the ending was like tying everything up with a big bow. This morning, in one of the lovely emails Kendall sent me she used the ribbon analogy too, quite extraordinary!

For the Record,
This day came in sunny and fantastic. The Red Sox won the American League Pennant and are headed to the World Series!

All hands are healthy.
