Gator Hunting

We've been gator hunting since before it was cool. Yeah. I said that.
I've noticed a lot of new people hunting on the bayous where we've been going for years. (Since I was 8 and I realized at that point that Louisiana was not just another part of Texas.) People are also trying to buy up alligator tags from locals whose property abuts the waterways so they can sell "alligator hunts" to tourists who are willing to pay an obscene amount of money to catch an alligator.

Ahhh. I blame that stupid Swamp Hunter show for this.

I am happy to report my 13 ft alligator from 2004 is still the biggest I've seen come out of our local bayous.
