Scrabble

Woke up to see on Twitter that trains to London were going to be difficult this morning. Decided to risk it anyway and the journey was not too bad (I even got my seat with not too much grumbling by its occupant). The tube was worse and took a long time to deposit me three stops.

After a tiring day, the situation was even worse on the way home. All the trains seemed to be delayed so I jumped on the first one that looked as if it would go my way. It took nearly an hour to get home and I missed my bus connection too. Was pleased that husband was able to come and pick me up from the alternative bus stop.

Challenged son number one to a game of scrabble after tea. He beat me!
