The Library of Birmingham

A magnificent building opened last month. The book rotundas are give an impressive view when you look upwards and you can walk along the rotunda galleries giving great views across the library. There are two gardens, each with benches to sit and read in fine weather both giving great views across the city. The skyline viewpoint at the top of the library has stunning views, on a clear day you can see as far as the Clent hill. Unfortunately it was damp and misty when we went. Hopefully will be able to show Storks Rock and Houblon when they visit.
