Happy 100th Irene!

Today I drove mum to Brisbane to attend the 100th party of her mother's good friend Irene Buchanan, known to us as 'Canon'. I spent a few hours at the local shopping centre before my 3 hours free parking ran out and returned for cake, tea and a quick hello. Wonderful to see her and my grandmother will hopefully celebrate her own 100th in February. So amazing to think 2 friends could reach such a great age. Interesting to see the letters of congratulations from the Pope, the Queen, the Prime Minister, the Governor General and State leaders too. Cheers!
