Bollywood actress. Actually was not that successful here, and not that well known - career was flagging apparently. Went on a little known obscure show in the UK called Big Brother, thinking it would be a breeze, but instead got hassle off some woman called Jade Goody. The latter is now as famous here in India as any other Brit... Shilpa is the darling of all the papers again (although don't mention Richard Gere)... strange old world...
