Desperately Hanging On

I drove by this view and it took me almost a mile longer before I realized something about it was going to make me turn around and take the picture. Now seeing it, I realize it's not only that the colors are still brilliant, but there are a lot less of them. Just a subtle reminder this beautiful season is coming to an end.
