Lakota First Nations
Another day of driving. They wanted a couple of bucks; said they slept outside last night. I didn't understand this fully because a little later they asked for a ride to their home. Just over there they said.
Down the road their cemetery. Benjamin M is buried there. He was born a Poorman; lived his entire life as a Poorman, and died a Poorman.
Still further down the road, a group of six on opening day of pheasant season - all of them wearing bright orange caps. Hope the pheasants have good eyesight. Who would shoot a pheasant?
