Today we visited two places on our list - but only one blip

This afternoon we left Route 66 at Goffs to take a detour to Boulder to see the Hoover Dam. In its time it was an enormous civil engineering project - the Colorado River was diverted - Lake Mead created - and electricity and flood defences provided for four states

Whilst on Route 66 this morning we stopped at Roy's Café and Motel in Amboy - called in and signed the visitors book. We discovered a comment left for us by friends as they passed by earlier in the month.
