Zephyr

Bumble

We scrunched, kicked and stomped our way up to the graveyard today.
We played, we laughed, we picked up pine cones and I ate sweets from my pocket.

The plan was to venture further afield, but Autumn in all its Tempestuous beauty had other plans.

I love Autumn, it is the most splendid and bracing of all our seasons.
Trees burn brilliantly, fiery reds and candescent orange set alight the countryside.
Berries in abundance, punctuate hedgerows like vermilion full stops.
Acorns lay scattered, and pavements turn from pedestrian grey concrete slabs, into golden mosaic masterpieces.

Nature is busy,

Winter is coming.

And I love it.
