The abandoned mill next to the playground - Les botigues de Tejedores.
I've tried to find some history for you, but so far I have to rely on my loose translation from the Mallorquin.
It seems previously, there were a variety of textile works spread around Soller, but the boom in the town in the late 19th Century, due to links with France and South America, enabled everything to go into one building, all powered by a huge steam engine. I think this one closed in 1971 after things fell apart from 1945 onwards.
Not sure if it was tela mallorquina that they were producing here, but it was certainly linen and of no more than four colours.
I so enjoyed getting this blip, because you can't see into the building. I had to put my hand through a hole in the grilled windows and just guess at the shot. :)
