In My Life

Wythenshawe Hall...

Wythenshawe Hall was built around 1540 by Robert Tatton of Chester, it remained in the Tatton family for some 400 years. The hall stands in 250-acre Wythenshawe Park in South Manchester. I remember visiting the hall many times during my childhood, I'd wander the history-filled rooms with my plastic toy sword drawn and imagine tales and adventures of knights, soldiers and battles.
