Hard bread

Crisp bread, or hard bread, is a staple food where I live. I have loved it since I was a little boy. I eat it every week. Hard bread is baked as round wafers with a hole in the middle. The bread used to be stored on a stick under the roof, like they did in my father's home – long ago. Indeed, very long ago. But the bread is still lovely.
