View from the cloudline over Loch Lomond
We got out despite the weather. The cloud deck was sitting at about 1000ft and the forecast was for it to get worse in the afternoon. So to shake out our legs we made a dash up the tourist path on Ben Lomond.
In was a bit blowy and wet on the top, although the ridgeline afforded quite a decent shelter from the Easterly wind, so it wasn't too unpleasant apart from a brief shoulder and a small saddle where the wind whistled across.
Above this point photography would have been very dull even with the benefit of a waterproof camera.
