Guess who got her tap shoes today?! Unfortunately it was after class so she didn't get to try them out and the next fortnight there is no ballet due to half term...then we are away for just over a week so she will miss another 2 weeks! Quite disappointed it has worked out this way but never mind. We will work with it. She has already been practicing her tap in the house which is more than she would do without the shoes. Her class was very small today - 3 girls! But she did very well. We had a milkshake afterwards to celebrate. We did the food shopping this afternoon and then I cleaned the kitchen and bathroom and had a bath. Amelie has been a bit angry all day, again. So fed up of this rage. Fingers crossed for a more peaceful and happy day tomorrow. Chris and I are having homemade burgers for tea once the children are asleep and I think we deserve a glass of wine.
